ABOUT US

We run two upscale event venues in downtown San Jose, California — Prestige Venue (intimate events up to 100 guests) and Prestige Hall (larger events up to 200 guests). We host birthdays, quinceaneras, weddings, corporate events, and milestone celebrations. Our brand is dark luxury: black, purple, and gold. Elegant, modern, premium.

We're a growing family-owned business with real systems in place. You won't be guessing what to post — we have a content playbook, brand guide, ad copy frameworks, and a steady supply of raw footage from real events. We need someone to turn that into scroll-stopping content, consistently.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Create and schedule 20-30 posts per month across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok (Reels, carousels, stories, static posts)
- Edit short-form video (Reels/TikTok) from raw event and venue footage we provide
- Design graphics in Canva following our brand guide (black/purple/gold luxury aesthetic)
- Write captions and hashtags that match our brand voice (we provide examples and frameworks)
- Respond to basic comments and flag DMs/leads to our team using our DM response playbook
- Track basic metrics monthly (reach, engagement, follower growth, top posts) in a simple report
- Repurpose content: one event shoot should become multiple Reels, carousels, and stories

WHAT YOU WON'T HAVE TO DO

- Invent a strategy from nothing — we have one
- Shoot footage — we send you raw video and photos after every event
- Run paid ads — we handle that (though ad creative help is a plus)

REQUIREMENTS

- 1+ year of experience managing social media for a business (portfolio required — send links to accounts or content you've personally created)
- Strong CapCut (or Premiere/similar) video editing skills for Reels/TikTok
- Strong Canva skills
- Good written English (captions will be reviewed at first, then you'll own them)
- Reliable internet, own computer, able to work independently
- Organized — you'll work from a monthly content calendar and hit posting deadlines without reminders

NICE TO HAVE

- Experience with event venues, weddings, hospitality, or luxury brands
- Meta Business Suite / scheduling tools (Later, Buffer, Metricool)
- Basic understanding of Instagram/TikTok trends and audio
- Experience working with US-based businesses

SCHEDULE

Flexible, but at least 3-4 hours of overlap with US Pacific Time (PST) for communication. Paid via Wise, on time, every time.
