JOB OVERVIEW

About Bookcicle

Bookcicle is an integrated manuscript workflow platform built for authors. We help writers move from completed draft to publication-ready manuscript through one connected workflow. Rather than juggling multiple disconnected tools, authors can manage editing, collaboration, translation, publishing preparation, and more within a single platform.
We are building a modern SaaS company for authors and are looking for an exceptional Video Content Creator & Editor who can bring our product, workflows, and brand story to life through compelling video content.
Position

We are seeking an exceptionally creative, highly self-sufficient Video Content Creator & Editor who can take ownership of projects from concept to final delivery with minimal guidance. We value professionals who are dependable, communicate proactively, consistently deliver high-quality work, and take pride in seeing projects through to completion.
The ideal candidate is comfortable owning the entire creative process—from developing concepts and writing scripts to planning visuals, sourcing assets, recording screen captures, editing, and delivering publication-ready videos.

As you become familiar with Bookcicle's products, audience, and brand voice, you will be expected to proactively identify content opportunities, develop video concepts, draft scripts for approval, and independently produce finished content from start to finish.

This is not an execution-only editing role. We're looking for someone who thinks like a content creator, exercises strong creative judgment, understands visual storytelling, and can make thoughtful decisions without waiting for detailed direction.
This role will begin on a per-project basis, allowing both you and Bookcicle to determine whether we're a strong long-term fit before expanding the relationship.
