About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and results driven Virtual Assistant to support our growing tax business. This role is focused on generating leads and building relationships within the tax industry. Your primary responsibility will be identifying tax professionals who may be interested in switching to new tax software or learning about opportunities to increase their profitability through our training programs, service bureau, and business solutions.
You will also connect with individuals who are curious about entering the tax industry and help educate them on how they can start and grow a profitable tax business.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct outbound cold calls,
Identify and connect with tax professionals who may benefit from new tax software or service bureau solutions
Generate leads through LinkedIn,
Find individuals interested in learning more about the tax industry and entrepreneurship opportunities
Follow up with inbound inquiries within 24 hours
Schedule discovery calls and consultations on the owner's calendar
Maintain and update the CRM with accurate lead information and notes
Send introductory materials, pricing information, and program details
Nurture prospects through ongoing
Track weekly outreach efforts and conversion metrics
Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects for future follow up
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Complete 50+ outbound touches per day
Book at least 15 qualified appointments per week
Generate 10 new ERO or tax preparer prospects each week
Generate new leads interested in tax software, tax training, or starting a tax business
Maintain a response time of less than one hour during business hours
Keep CRM records accurate and up to date
Ideal Candidate
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with CRM systems and lead management
Comfortable with cold calling and outbound prospecting
Confident in starting conversations and overcoming objections
Highly organized and detail oriented
Self motivated with a strong sales mindset
Ability to work independently and meet weekly performance goals
Previous experience in sales, recruiting, or the tax industry is a plus but not required
