Description:

Our company primarily develops websites but would like to develop Android applications for Android devices. This is an opportunity for an experienced Android developer to work within a strong company to architect and develop mobile products that will be pushed out to millions of users.


Duties:

• Work with the business manager to gather requirements and specifications for the Android apps.
• Architect the Android apps from start to finish based on the requirements gathered.
• Develop, maintain, and continuously enhance the Android apps.
• Understand the code of an existing app and be able to fix any bug and enhance features based on an existing code.
• Work with internal testing team to create and update documentation.
• Release application for user testing and deployment.
• Participate in the SCRUM style sprints during the development and maintenance of the Android apps.
• Any related tasks as assigned.


Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in Android mobile development.
• Completed at least 3 Android projects from start to delivery.
• Experience developing or maintaining Android launchers is an advantage.
• Able to effectively use git for source code control.
• Good understanding of Android development best practices, documentation and APIs available.
• Good understanding of how an Android application interaction with server environment works.
• Able to work with graphic design team to put together Android frontend native UI.
• Experience in leading a team is an advantage.
