Do you love packaging, products and global retail trends? This role is supporting our busy teams who understand retail trends and design for NZ, Australia, USA,UK, Europe and Canadian markets.
About the Role
You will work on a wide variety of packaging and products for retailers, from graphic markers to water bottles, plates and pots and pans, pasta machines and macrame hangers, kids crafts and pet products, picnic blankets, garden tools and ornaments and a million and one other things. Your projects might include whipping up some new packaging for a product, designing patterns, making quick changes, refreshing last year's offering, or working on new product development with account managers.

About You
? A degree in Graphic or Product Design and 5+ years current experience designing packaging for retail products is essential.
? Your customers will be large supermarket chains, Big Box retailers, discounters or cut price
? Excellent English language skills
? A strong creative eye, with natural ‘design’ talent. You understand retail and can spot trends, love great products and do beautiful work. Pet and Homeware categories would be an advantage
? Proficiency using Adobe Creative Cloud, Chat GPT and good MS Office skills. Other design tools would be an advantage.
? You are reliable, have a strong work ethic and a “can-do” attitude. As a fast operator you will get tasks done and dusted.
? A passion for timely, accurate naming and filling protocols (they really matter to us). Due to the volume of work and complexity of working in multiple countries, many issues and costs are avoided by a high level of attention to detail in this area.
? Working remotely, strong communication skills are critical. You might be on the quiet side, or louder, or somewhere in the middle (we like all sorts of people), but you will be a great listener with strong collaboration skills, excellent follow up and effective written communication.
