We are looking for an A-player Shopify Growth Manager to lead the growth of a fast-scaling DTC brand currently doing $250,000/month in revenue.
This is not a VA role. This is not a “wait for tasks” role.
You will report directly to the CEO and be responsible for identifying opportunities, leading execution, improving performance, and making sure our Shopify store, paid media,
The right person will think like an operator, marketer, analyst, and partner.
Core Responsibilities:
Shopify Growth Ownership
Own the performance of our Shopify store.
Monitor revenue, conversion rate, AOV, returning customer rate, and customer journey performance.
Identify growth opportunities without waiting for the CEO to assign tasks.
Work with developers/designers to improve the store experience.
Lead experiments around product pages, bundles, upsells, landing pages, checkout flow, offers, and merchandising.
Google Shopping / Google Merchant Center:
Manage and optimize Google Shopping performance.
Understand product feeds, Merchant Center issues, disapprovals, titles, descriptions, product taxonomy, and feed optimization.
Work with media buyers to ensure campaigns are structured properly.
Monitor ROAS, CPA, conversion tracking, search terms, and product-level performance.
Meta Ads Coordination:
Work alongside our Meta media buyers to ensure campaigns are running smoothly.
Understand campaign structure deeply: prospecting, retargeting, creative testing, account structure, exclusions, attribution, and offer strategy.
Review performance and identify issues/opportunities.
Help translate TikTok creator content into Meta ad creative strategy.
TikTok Shop / Creator Content Coordination:
Work with the TikTok Shop manager to identify strong creator content.
Help select UGC/creator videos that can be licensed and repurposed for Meta ads.
Coordinate with media buyers to test winning TikTok-style creatives on Meta.
Understand what makes short-form creative convert.
Email
Own or heavily lead
Understand flows, campaigns, segmentation, deliverability, list growth, A/B testing, and lifecycle marketing.
Improve welcome flows, post-purchase flows, abandoned cart, winback, cross-sell, review request, and promotional campaigns.
Know how
CRO / UI / UX:
Understand UI/UX principles for e-commerce.
Identify friction points in the customer journey.
Work with developers/designers to improve PDPs, collection pages, landing pages, navigation, cart, checkout, and mobile experience.
Lead conversion testing ideas based on data and customer behavior.
Leadership & Ownership:
Bring ideas, not just updates.
Create weekly priorities and performance summaries.
Lead meetings with media buyers, developers, designers, and TikTok tea
Hold people accountable respectfully.
Think like a long-term partner in the business.
What We Are Looking For
Must-Have Experience
3+ years managing or leading growth for Shopify/DTC brands.
Experience with stores doing meaningful revenue, ideally $100k+/month.
Strong understanding of Google Shopping and Merchant Center.
Strong understanding of Meta Ads campaign structure.
Deep experience with
Strong understanding of CRO, Shopify UX, and landing page optimization.
Comfortable working directly with a CEO.
Excellent written communication.
Self-directed, proactive, and commercially minded.
Nice-to-Have
Experience with TikTok Shop.
Experience repurposing UGC/creator content for paid ads.
Experience with Shopify Plus.
Experience with first aid, health, survival, travel, outdoor, or Amazon-adjacent brands.
Experience managing contractors, agencies, or small internal teams.
