SSANCAR is a B2B exporter of inspected Korean used cars, selling to car dealers around the world (Europe, the Balkans, Latin America, and more). Our motto is "Korea Standard, Global Trust." We are hiring a Korean-English bilingual Customer Service & Sales Agent to join our overseas customer-response team.
THE ROLE
You will be the first person our overseas customers talk to. When a dealer or buyer messages us (mainly through WhatsApp, managed in
Most customers do not speak Korean - our system auto-translates - so your ENGLISH is what matters most for customers. Your KOREAN keeps you connected to our Korea head office (instructions, handoff notes, and coordinating with our Korean sales team).
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Respond fast to incoming customer chats (target: first reply within 5 minutes)
- Find out what each customer wants (car type, budget, destination country)
- Answer common questions using our knowledge base (inspection, shipping basics, payment terms)
- Keep customers engaged with a warm, proactive, sales-minded approach
- Write a short internal note and hand qualified leads to the right Korea sales team
SCHEDULE
We operate on Korea Standard Time (KST). Philippine time is KST minus 1 hour. Two shifts are available - tell us which you prefer:
- Day shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM KST (7:00 AM - 4:00 PM Philippine time)
- Evening shift: 5:00 PM - 2:00 AM KST (4:00 PM - 1:00 AM Philippine time)
Weekend availability is a strong plus.
REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent written English - clear, professional, friendly
- Functional / business Korean - able to understand instructions and exchange notes with our Korea team (TOPIK Level 3 or higher preferred, OR real experience working with/for Korean companies or in Korea)
- Customer service or sales experience, ideally chat-based
- A genuine sales mindset - proactive, persuasive, and good at keeping a conversation going
- Reliable laptop, stable high-speed internet, and a quiet work-from-home setup
- Dependable and consistent - able to commit to your shift, including some weekends
NICE TO HAVE (STRONG PLUS)
- Interest in or experience with cars / the automotive world (you do not need to be an expert - we will train you - but loving cars helps a lot)
