Social Media Manager / Video Editor Wanted – Local Architecture business

We are looking for a social media and video editor to help grow the online presence of a local architecture, drafting and building design business.

The main focus will be creating engaging short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook and YouTube Shorts, with some longer-form YouTube videos as well.

Content will include things like:

Floor plan reviews
“What not to do” design tips
Home renovation advice
Drafting and building design education
Local architecture and planning content
Before and after design ideas

The role will include:

Researching competitors and similar businesses
Helping develop the social media strategy
Planning video ideas for me to record
Writing scripts and hooks for short-form videos
Editing videos into engaging reels
Creating captions and post ideas
Advising on the overall look, feel and direction of the pages
Helping turn ideas into consistent weekly content

I will provide some direction and competitor profiles, but I am looking for someone who can take ownership of the strategy and bring their own ideas.

Experience with social media advertising is a bonus, especially Facebook, Instagram or TikTok ads.

This would suit someone who understands how to make educational content engaging, fast-paced and easy to watch.
