Virtual Assistant – Jules Comfort Stays

Location: Remote (Work from Home)
Salary: Starting from $500 per month + Bonuses + Commission

About Us

Jules Comfort Stays is a growing serviced accommodation company providing high-quality accommodation for business travellers, contractors, insurance guests, relocation clients and families throughout the UK.

We are looking for a proactive, organised and professional Virtual Assistant to become a key part of our growing team. We need someone who is reliable, thinks ahead, uses initiative and takes ownership of their work.

Guest Communication

Respond promptly to guest enquiries.

Provide exceptional customer service before, during and after each stay.

Handle guest issues professionally and efficiently.

Maintain a friendly, welcoming and professional tone at all times.

Ensure guest satisfaction and encourage positive reviews.

Answer guest calls and messages in a timely manner.

Assist guests with check-in instructions, property information and any issues that arise during their stay.

Property Operations

Monitor guest check-outs and organise cleaners immediately after departure.

Ensure every property is cleaned and ready before new guest arrivals.

Coordinate cleaning schedules using our channel management software (Uplisting).

Monitor property readiness and report any issues.

Ensure all properties meet Jules Comfort Stays' standards before each guest arrival.

Booking & Channel Management

Manage bookings through Airbnb, ---------- , VRBO and other online travel agencies.

Use Uplisting to track arrivals, departures and cleaning schedules.

Update calendars and booking information.

Ensure all properties remain accurately listed and managed.

Monitor occupancy and report any booking opportunities.

Maintenance & Contractor Management

Take initiative when maintenance issues arise.

Contact approved plumbers, electricians, handymen and contractors as required.

Follow up on repairs until they are completed.

Maintain records of maintenance issues and resolutions.

Manage teams of cleaners and contractors across multiple properties.

For example:

If a boiler stops working, you will arrange a plumber.

If there is an electrical issue, you will arrange an electrician.

If furniture requires repair, you will arrange a handyman.

If additional cleaning is required, you will organise the cleaning team.

If a guest reports a maintenance issue, you will take ownership of resolving it promptly.

Business Development & Outreach

This role is not just administrative. We are looking for someone who can actively help grow the business.

You will be expected to:

Research and identify insurance accommodation providers.

Research and identify contractor accommodation companies.

Research and identify relocation companies.

Research and identify corporate accommodation providers.

Build relationships with local businesses requiring accommodation.

Help increase occupancy across all Jules Comfort Stays properties.


Email
Outreach

You will regularly send professional emails to:

Insurance companies

Insurance accommodation providers

Loss adjusters

Relocation companies

Construction companies

Contractor firms

Corporate travel departments

Local businesses requiring accommodation for staff

The goal is to introduce Jules Comfort Stays, build relationships and secure long-term accommodation bookings for our properties.

You will be provided with guidance, templates and training, but we are looking for someone who can use initiative and confidently communicate with businesses on behalf of the company.

Requirements

Excellent written and spoken English.

Professional and friendly communication skills.

Strong organisational skills.

Excellent customer service skills.

Ability to work independently.

Excellent attention to detail.

Ability to solve problems and use initiative.

Experience with Airbnb, ---------- or serviced accommodation is beneficial but not essential.

Communication & Equipment Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

A stable and reliable high-speed internet connection.

A smartphone or telephone capable of making and receiving calls.

A laptop or desktop computer suitable for managing bookings and communications.

Availability to respond to urgent guest enquiries when required.

A quiet and professional working environment.

You will be expected to communicate with guests, cleaners, contractors and company partners in a professional and friendly manner at all times.

Performance Bonuses5-Star Review Bonus

Response Time Bonus

Receive bonuses for maintaining excellent guest response times.

Initiative Bonus

Additional bonuses will be awarded when initiative is shown and problems are solved without requiring constant supervision.

Growth Bonus

As the company grows, additional responsibilities and pay increases will become available.

Commission StructureLong-Term Booking Commission

You will receive:

10% commission on any long-term booking that you personally secure through your outreach efforts.

This includes bookings from:

Insurance accommodation providers

Insurance companies

Contractors

Corporate clients

Relocation companies

Local businesses

This commission is paid in addition to your monthly salary and performance bonuses.

Additional Work Bonus

At Jules Comfort Stays, we believe in rewarding hard work and initiative.

In addition to your salary, commission and performance bonuses, you will receive additional bonuses for:

Taking on extra responsibilities.

Completing work outside of your normal duties.

Assisting with special projects.

Helping onboard new properties.

Creating new systems or improving existing processes.

Successfully solving difficult guest or operational issues.

Supporting the growth and expansion of the business.

Assisting with marketing and social media content.

Helping source new contractors, suppliers or business opportunities.
