JOB OVERVIEW

Virtual Assistant & Digital Marketing Specialist (Remote)
About Flourishing Over Fifty?
Flourishing Over Fifty? is a movement to support and inspire women in midlife to rediscover their joy.
The Role
We are looking for a sharp, tech-savvy, and resourceful partner to serve as our Virtual Assistant and Digital Marketing Specialist. This isn’t just about “checking boxes” - you will be the engine behind our digital marketing, content pipeline, and community logistics. If you thrive in a “let’s try this” environment and love mastering new tech, you’ll fit right in.
What You’ll Do

- Community Manager:
Monitor group activity, respond to questions, ensure group rules are followed.
Accept members into the group quickly and regularly (daily basis).
Research, identify and implement Facebook Group best practices.
As community manager, you are responsible for the community being a welcoming place and for helping the community grow.

- Group Content: Create a proposed group content plan focused on group engagement and growth and post content based on a defined schedule. This group is focused on building community, not on selling.
- Content: Create Facebook Group Community content (visuals, copy, videos) that drives group engagement. You’ll use Facebook or other tool for scheduling, AI to help with copy & repeatable processes and Canva to create high-impact visuals.
- Community Tech: Oversee the Facebook Group space, ensuring events and automated tech run flawlessly.
- AI Integration: Use AI tools for research and drafting to streamline workflows, create SOPs and repeatable processes, while maintaining our unique brand voice
Who You Are
- A Precise Communicator: You write professional copy with hooks and catchy captions tailored for midlife women.
- Tech-Fluent: You are a fast learner who knows Meta, Facebook, Facebook Groups and keeps up on Meta changes.
- Detail-Obsessed: You catch the typos and broken links that others miss.
- Systems Thinker: You don’t just do a task; you create a process to make it better next time.
Work Details:
- Schedule: Part-time (10 hours/week to start - potential for more hours based on performance, skillset and experience).
- Term: Starts ASAP.
- Location: 100% Remote (Must have a reliable internet connection and power backup).
- Compensation: Training salary for first month and competitive rate upon successful completion.
How to Apply:
Send your resume and a brief intro to ---------- with the subject “I’m your next Facebook Group Community Manager - [Your Name]”. In your note, please answer:
1. What is your experience with Meta, Facebook and Facebook Groups?

2. What does being a community manager mean to you?
3. Why does this role appeal to you?
