Video Editor for Meta Ads (Long-Term)

Hi!
We're a Swedish ecommerce company running several brands, and we're looking for a video editor to partner with us long-term on high-converting ad creatives for Facebook and Instagram.
To be clear up front: this isn't cinematic work or YouTube-style content. We make short, direct-response ads where the goal is conversions — not polish for its own sake.
The work centers on:

Hooks that grab attention in the first 1–2 seconds
Editing built for retention (keeping people watching)
UGC-style creatives
Captions and text/motion graphics
Clear product demonstrations
Punchy, fast-paced cuts
A constant focus on driving sales

You'll mostly be working with products in the golf space — apparel, footwear — plus other ecommerce items.
What we're looking for

Hands-on experience editing ads for Meta/Facebook
A background working with Shopify or other ecommerce brands
Comfortable in CapCut, Premiere Pro, or a similar tool
A real understanding of hooks and viewer retention
Able to work from references and follow a brief
Solid written English
Quick turnaround

Nice to have: experience with Swedish or Scandinavian brands — that's a strong plus.

Pay
$6–12/hour to start, depending on your experience and skill. Top performers can earn performance bonuses on top of that.
Hiring process
Shortlisted applicants will do a small paid test first: edit a 20–30 second Meta ad from raw footage, with the focus on hook, retention, and conversion.
We want someone who's in it for the long run and wants to grow alongside us.
