Video Editor

We are a dynamic team looking for a reliable, creative, and detail-oriented freelance Video Editor to help us streamline our video content. We work on a Monday to Thursday schedule (10:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST).

The Role & Content
We are looking for someone to edit straightforward, engaging content. The videos are not overly complicated and generally fall into two categories:

Talking Head / Interviews: Clean cuts, audio leveling, basic color correction, and occasional lower-thirds/b-roll.

Office Culture Videos: Fun, short-form, or medium-form videos showcasing our team, office environment, and behind-the-scenes moments.

Communication & Workflow
Platform: You will be added to our Zoom Workplace for all team communications, file sharing, and project updates.

Availability: While you can edit on your own time, checking in and communicating with us must happen during our core hours (Monday–Thursday, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST).

Updates: We value proactive communication. You will be expected to provide regular status updates on active projects in our chat.

Requirements
Proven experience editing talking head interviews and social/culture video content.

Ability to deliver a first draft within 48–72 hours of receiving raw footage.

Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate via Zoom Workplace.

Reliable internet connection for downloading/uploading large video files.
