About Tactical Despatch
Tactical Despatch is a fast-growing, premium same-day logistics company based in the UK. We operate a highly reliable fleet, ranging fro ---------- rcedes Sprinters to specialised Lutons with Tail Lifts. We pride ourselves on our tech-driven approach, guaranteeing 60-minute collections and providing our customers with the highest level of service.

We are looking for a highly focused, detail-oriented professional to join our remote team and act as the driving force behind keeping our UK fleet moving profitably.

The Role
As our Freight Pricing & Dispatch Specialist, your primary responsibility will be managing our presence on the UK’s leading freight platform, Courier Exchange (CX).

This is a screen-based, highly focused role that involves continuously monitoring the live load boards, identifying suitable jobs for our available vehicles, and rapidly calculating and submitting profitable quotes based on our established rate matrix. You will be the vital link that ensures our drivers are never running empty and our vehicles are maximising their daily revenue.

Key Responsibilities
Continuous Platform Monitoring: Actively watch the live Courier Exchange (CX) load boards throughout your shift to identify freight opportunities across the UK.

Rapid Quoting: Use our internal rate structure and pricing matrix to calculate fast, profitable, and accurate quotes for available jobs.

Vehicle Matching: Accurately match available loads to the correct vehicle types in our fleet (e.g., ensuring heavy/awkward freight is quoted for our 750KG Tail Lift Lutons, and standard freight for our Sprinters).

High-Volume Bidding: Submit a high volume of quotes consistently throughout the day to secure continuous work for our drivers.

Communication: Coordinate closely with our UK Operations team via [Slack/Teams/Email] to update them on won jobs and vehicle availability.

Requirements & Qualifications
Excellent Written English: Must have strong, professional written English to communicate effectively with the UK team and UK-based clients on the CX platform.

High Attention to Detail: You will be dealing with numbers, postcodes, vehicle dimensions, and pricing matrices all day. Accuracy is critical.

Comfortable with Repetition: This role requires someone who enjoys a fast-paced, screen-based workflow and is comfortable sitting at a computer submitting quotes throughout their entire shift.

Tech-Savvy: Quick to learn new software platforms and comfortable navigating multiple browser tabs and internal pricing tools simultaneously.

Reliable Infrastructure: Must have a reliable, high-speed internet connection, a quiet workspace, and a capable computer.

Bonus (but not required): Previous experience working with UK logistics, dispatching, or specifically using the Courier Exchange (CX) platform.

What We Offer
Clear Guidance: You will take ownership in ensuring our vehicles are constantly moving profitably.

Stable Remote Work: Work from the comfort of your own home with a reliable, growing UK business.

Supportive Team: You will be directly supporting an operations team that values your work and relies on your success.

How to Apply
Please submit your resume along with a short cover letter explaining why you are comfortable working UK business hours and highlighting any relevant data entry, quoting, or logistics experience you have.
