Job Description – Food Technologist/VA
• Organizes and executes product development activities according to corporate directives.
• Provides technical assistance where necessary.
• Performs tasks/duties that may be assigned from time to time.
• Keeps a pulse on matters related to existing products as well as those in development.
• Able to confidently source, coordinate and negotiate with various vendors, both here and abroad.
• Must be able to travel locally and abroad without any difficulty or hesitation.
Must be able to work in an office and telecommute efficiently and effectively
• Degree in Food Technology or relevant course, e.g. R&D with VA capabilities
• Computer-literate and comfortable with internet use.
• Some experience in food industry.
• Working knowledge of GMP and HACCP.
• Proficient in product costing and able to keenly follow production process
• Highly analytical, good in planning and organizing.
• Self-propelled and energetic with good communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent problem-solver
• Willingness to listen and learn, adaptable, flexible, dependable and honest.
• Good work ethic
