We're a direct-response creative company that scales our own DTC brands to 7-8 figures and we’re seeking an experienced Direct Response Video Editor.
The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of direct-response advertising and how high-converting video creatives drive performance. Your core responsibility will be turning proven scripts into ads that build emotion, hold attention, and drive the sale.
Your Role:
As a Video Editor, you’ll play a key role in scaling our ad performance. You’ll help produce high-quality video ads that convert, from short-form UGC to long-form VSLs (5 minutes+).
You’ll work across multiple formats, turning voiceovers, talking-head footage, AI clips, and raw UGC into clear, emotional, conversion-driven ads. You’ll create variations based on hooks, intros, and messaging angles, generate new clips using AI tools, source relevant content online, and collaborate closely with our Creative Strategist and editing team to test and iterate quickly.
Ideal Candidate:
- At least 1 year of experience editing direct-response video ads
- Strong pacing, storytelling, structure, and attention-retention instincts
- Proficient with video editing software
- Fluent in English, with strong grammar and accurate subtitles
- High attention to detail
- Fast communicator with consistent delivery
- Adaptable and deadline-driven
- Collaborative and open to feedback
Requirements:
You are proficient with industry-standard editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro. Your skill level allows you to produce polished, professional ads designed to perform on paid platforms. Bonus if you have basic motion graphics or After Effects skills.
You’ll collaborate closely with our Creative Strategist and editors to bring concepts to life. Expect structured briefs, rapid feedback loops, and ongoing testing of new angles, hooks, and visual approaches. You understand what performs, and you iterate until it hits.
What You’ll Do:
1. Attend weekly tea
2. Edit short-form UGC and long-form VSLs (5 minutes+) for
3. Turn voiceovers, talking-heads, AI clips, and raw UGC into clear, emotional, conversion-driven ads
4. Create new clips using AI tools and source relevant content from the internet
5. Build variations based on hooks, intros, and messaging angles
6. Study high-performing ads from other markets to find repeatable patterns
7. Stay up-to-date with new AI trends and tools to improve quality and speed
8. Participate in weekly performance reviews to track results and iterate on what’s working
