Hiring Youtube Editor

I am looking for a skilled Video Editor with strong B-roll instincts to edit YouTube videos for my marketing agency's channel. Most videos are talking-head educational content about Google Ads for trades businesses. On the job training and style guides will be provided.

SKILLS
-Video Editing Software (Capcut, Descript, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or other) (REQUIRED)
-Strong B-roll selection and motion graphics (REQUIRED)
-Ability to create or source animated Google Ads / Google Search mockups (REQUIRED)
-Background music selection
-Basic color correction
-After Effects knowledge (helpful, not required)

YOU
-You are detail-oriented and your edits are clean and polished
-You understand YouTube pacing and what holds viewer attention
-You are punctual and hit deadlines reliably
-You can work independently and solve problems on your own
-You are willing to learn the style of my channel and improve over time

ABOUT ME
-I am the director of Bluelight, a marketing agency based in Auckland, New Zealand. We provide -Google Ads and SEO services trades companies across NZ. The
-YouTube channel teaches these businesses how to get more leads online.

TASKS
-Editing raw talking-head footage into polished YouTube videos
-Sourcing and inserting relevant video B-roll and animations
-Adding background music and cleaning audio
-Simple text overlays and chapter markers
-Delivering final files ready to upload

POSITION
-Part-time to start, 10 hours per week. Potential to grow into a long-term role as the channel expands.
