Static Meta Ads Designer for Mobile Wellness App

We are looking for a talented static ad designer to create high-quality paid social ads for Azora, a mobile wellness app that helps users calm down through guided breathing and phone-camera heart rate measurement.

This role is focused on static ads only. We are looking for image-based ad creatives for Meta/Facebook/Instagram, including feed ads, story ads, app screenshot ads, UGC-style statics, and direct-response app install ads.

We want someone who can design static ads in the style of apps like Calm, Headspace, Breathwrk, BetterSleep, and other modern wellness apps.

This role is not just about making pretty graphics. We need someone who can think like a creative strategist. You should be able to come up with strong ad angles, understand why an ad might convert, and turn simple ideas into clear, scroll-stopping static ads.

Azora helps users:
- Reduce stress
- Follow guided breathing exercises
- Measure heart rate using only their phone camera
- See their body calming down in real time

Responsibilities:
- Design static ad creatives for Meta/Facebook/Instagram
- Create multiple ad concepts and variations from one idea
- Think of new ad angles, hooks, and creative formats
- Use app screenshots and product visuals in a clean, premium way
- Study reference ads from Calm, Headspace, Breathwrk, and other wellness apps
- Understand what makes an ad clear, emotional, and clickable
- Follow briefs closely while also bringing your own creative ideas
- Deliver editable source files and exported PNG/JPG files
- Create ads in common formats such as 1080x1080 and 1080x1920
- Iterate quickly based on feedback and performance data

Requirements:
- Experience designing static ads for paid social
- Strong portfolio with real ad creative examples
- Good creative thinking, not just design execution
- Ability to come up with hooks, angles, and layouts
- Understanding of Meta/Facebook/Instagram ad formats
- Strong sense of direct-response design
- Ability to make ads that are simple, readable, and conversion-focused
- Experience with Canva, Figma, Photoshop, or similar tools
- Good eye for mobile app, wellness, health, or lifestyle design
- Comfortable making many variations of the same concept
- Reliable communication and fast turnaround time

Nice to have:
- Experience with wellness, meditation, fitness, sleep, health, or mobile app ads
- Experience designing ads similar to Calm, Headspace, Breathwrk, BetterSleep, or other app brands
- Experience with app install campaigns
- Basic understanding of creative testing for paid ads
- Ability to research competitors and suggest new ad ideas
