JOB OVERVIEW

I am an English Pronunciation and American Accent Coach looking for a Content Marketing Planner & Writer with an interest in English linguistics to plan & schedule social media content, or flesh out my content ideas, as well write emails & blogs. You will NOT need to create visual content such as videos & carousels—I will film, and my editor will do visuals—but you will write catchy copy, occasionally blogs & emails, but definitely plan and schedule content.

Core Responsibilities:

1. Content planning:
- outline/script content ideas (both yours and mine) for me to film or my editor to create
- Prepare SEO & schedule content
2. Writing:
- Write blogposts & emails
- Optimize sales copy, hooks, etc
- Occasionally create English language educational materials for my lessons

Requirements:

- English proficiency: I teach English pronunciation, so you need to be decent in English, especially since a lot of content revolves around foreign-accented English, your English needs to be good enough to understand other accents
- Passion for languages & linguistics: Some of the stuff I teach and deal with is a bit more advanced than just grammar and vocabulary. You will ideally know a bit about linguistics and enjoy it yourself.
- File management: There will likely be a lot of files we are sharing, so make sure you name the files correctly and place them in the right folders.

How to apply:

Please link your portfolio of relevant work. Also start your message with “phonetics” so I know you’ve read this. If you have any experience with language teaching or the English language, please let me know about that too.

PLEASE NOTE:

I am a small company (me and one VA). I cannot afford to pay too much! I'm only looking for a PART-TIME Content Marketing Planner & Writer.
