About the role:
I'm an entrepreneur who runs my business full-time while living in a new country roughly every three months. I'm looking for a sharp, proactive assistant to take travel and lifestyle admin off my plate so I can focus on work and enjoy each place. This is an ongoing part-time role (about 20–25 hours/week) with room to grow as we build trust.
What you'll do:
- Research and shortlist apartments/homes for ~3-month stays that match my taste and budget, then handle bookings.
- Message and negotiate with landlords and hosts on price and terms.
- Research and book flights and rental cars.
- Suggest and plan weekend trips from wherever I'm based.
- General travel admin: itineraries, visa/entry-requirement checks, reservations, and keeping everything organised in one place.
- Other similar admin tasks
You're a great fit if you:
- Have verifiable previous experience in travel research and admin with references (mention this in your application!)
- Write excellent, natural English.
- Are genuinely proactive: you bring me options and a recommendation, not just questions.
- Are responsive and reliable within agreed hours.
- Enjoy research, comparison, and getting details right (dates, prices, fine print).
- Are comfortable with light negotiation and talking to strangers on my behalf.
Hours & pay:
- ~20–25 hours/week.
- Some overlap with my hours for real-time decisions; otherwise flexible.
- $300/mo.
