Position Overview
We are seeking a talented writer who is fluent in both English and Arabic and has strong knowledge of Islam, Islamic history, and contemporary issues affecting Muslim communities around the world.
The ideal candidate will be able to research complex topics, identify reliable sources, and create accurate, engaging content that can be understood by a general audience.
This role involves creating educational content about Islam, Islamic history, Islamic culture, social justice, tolerance, global affairs, and notable Muslim figures.
Responsibilities:
Research Islamic history, culture, and current events
Write educational articles, reports, guides, and web content
Summarize and explain complex topics in a clear and engaging manner
Review source materials and identify key information
Fact-check content for accuracy
Meet project deadlines and respond professionally to feedback
Collaborate with editors and project managers as needed
Required Qualifications:
Fluent written and spoken English
Fluent written and spoken Arabic
Excellent research and writing skills
Strong knowledge of Islam and Islamic history
Ability to write for a general audience
Reliable internet connection and consistent communication
Ability to meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in Islamic Studies, Religious Studies, History, Journalism, Political Science, International Relations, or a related field
Prior experience writing about Islam, religion, public policy, history, or social issues
Published articles, blogs, educational content, or research papers

Compensation
