Role Description
This is a remote, contract role for an Author Marketing Virtual Assistant. The responsibilities include assisting with content creation, implementing marketing strategies, and supporting virtual campaigns to promote authors and their work. Specific tasks may include developing web content, managing social media accounts, drafting marketing copy, and working with digital marketing tools to build audience engagement.
Qualifications
• Author platform growth
• Proficiency in Web Content Writing, Writing, and Content Strategy
• Experience in Marketing and Digital Marketing practices
• Newsletter creation and distribution, and podcast research and outreach
• Social media management
• Speaking engagement research
• Knowledge of social media management tools and content planning platforms is a plus
• Canva quote graphics
• Website/blog updates
• Prior experience in a similar role or within a creative or publishing environment is advantageous
Experience with Christian publishing, nonfiction books, podcast outreach, or thought-leadership marketing preferred.
