I'm looking for a skilled video editor to join my team. You'll edit full podcast episodes and cut short-form social media clips for the EdTech Growth Podcast. This is a recurring role with consistent work as we grow our content output.
What You'll Do
Edit full-length podcast video episodes (30–60 min) for YouTube — clean cuts, intro/outro integration, lower thirds, and chapter markers
Cut 60–90 second highlight clips optimized for LinkedIn, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
Add captions and subtitles to all videos
Incorporate branded elements (logo, colors, intro animation, virtual backgrounds)
Deliver polished, professional content that matches our brand look and feel
Manage a consistent upload-ready turnaround (typically 2–3 business days per episode)
What I'm Looking For
Proven experience editing interview-style podcast or YouTube content
Strong portfolio showing both long-form and short-form video edits
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve
Ability to add dynamic captions (auto or manual) — clean, readable, on-brand
Good eye for pacing, clip selection, and what makes a
Reliable communicator — updates me if timelines shift
Self-directed — you don't need me to hold your hand
Bonus Points
Experience with B2B, EdTech, or business podcast content
Familiar with LinkedIn video best practices
Can create basic audiograms or graphic assets in Canva
Tools We Use:
Riverside.fm or Zoom (raw recordings)
Hours and Pay
Part-time to start — approximately 5–10 hours per week
Pay based on experience — please include your rate in your application
Opportunity to grow hours as podcast scales
