IT SPECIALIST

The IT Specialist is a strategic position that plays a pivotal role in the data integrity of key My Amazon Guy functions. The position is responsible for assisting the CTO and IT Department, maintaining and enhancing dashboards, data models, and data pipelines. Possess advanced analytical and decision-making skills. The role requires someone who is passionate about data quality, data analytics, and automation in order to drive business strategy. An ability to be an expert in problem-solving, critical thinking, and an understanding of complex system dependencies are essential in enabling the IT Manager to show where My Amazon Guy processes are broken and how those processes are affecting key data points. An individual with a strong passion to solve problems and improve data integrity will excel in this position.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain company IT systems, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security across all platforms.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for software, and network-related issues across teams.
- Ensure implementation and compliance with security systems, including antivirus, firewalls, and two-factor authentication.
- Oversee and optimize the use of company tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Asana, Slack, Monday, HubSpot, WordPress).
- Support website management and CMS platforms, ensuring functionality, updates, and performance optimization.
- Analyze system data and create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support decision-making.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to understand workflows and improve system integrations and data architecture.
- Assist in automation and process improvements, including API integrations and workflow optimization where applicable.
- Document IT processes, provide training, and ensure teams are equipped to use systems efficiently.
- Proactively identify technical issues, recommend solutions, and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency and quality output.

Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in an IT Help Desk role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

IT QA SPECIALIST

The IT Quality Assurance role has ended up being 99% focused on Quality Assurance (QA) rather than audits. It is responsible for ensuring that IT systems and processes are consistently monitored and improved in alignment with MAG’s standards and industry regulations. Responsibilities include performing detailed tests to identify and resolve system bugs, developing and maintaining automated test scripts, and providing expert and technical audits.

An ability to be an expert in problem-solving, critical thinking, and an understanding of complex system dependencies are essential in enabling the IT Manager to show where My Amazon Guy processes are broken and how those processes are affecting key data points. An individual with a strong passion to solve problems and improve data integrity will excel in this position.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure proper prioritization of tasks is observed, and assignments are properly actioned and handled per MAG standards.
- Proactively contribute to providing strategies for work quality advancements.
- Collaborate with IT Devs to ensure testing and observation of solutions add value to end users.
- Ensure all fields in tasks have met the standard requirement of the team.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on complex system issues.
- Act as a Cross-Departmental Unblocker by managing tasks such as workflow automations.
- Create templates and initiatives to improve QA process efficiency across the organization.
- Coordinate and generate independent test cases for each newly developed application/system.
- Manage QA IT projects during each phase, ensuring all tasks are reviewed for quality assurance.
- Communicate and recommend improvements to the functionality, design, and usability of new systems/applications.
- Ensure all work projects are compliant with the company’s standards.
- Serve as the final line of defense to ensure IT solutions meet end users’ requests.

Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in IT quality assurance and audit roles.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with No-Code/Low-Code platforms, such as Zapier, Google Workspace, JotForms, HubSpot, PandaDoc, and AirTable.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, and API integration.
- Experience with Asana or similar project management tools for task and project tracking.
- Familiarity with software testing techniques, tools, and defect-tracking systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
