We’re looking for a Multimedia Video Editor to support Jumper Media’s social media and marketing content for our client accounts. You’ll help bring ideas to life through strong editing, pacing, and storytelling—creating polished videos that are on-brand, on-strategy, and ready for fast-paced publishing.

What You’ll Do
- Edit a high volume of short-form social videos each week, keeping pace with a busy multi-platform posting schedule
- Create content for multiple formats and channels, including:
- TikTok / IG Reels/YouTube Shorts
- Video
- YouTube videos (when needed) + thumbnails
- Simple motion/animated elements (text, overlays, transitions) when required
- Turn raw footage into engaging edits: strong hooks, pacing, retention-focused structure
- Add and style captions/subtitles, on-screen text, and basic graphics as needed
- Follow brand guidelines and maintain consistent visual/audio quality (fonts, colors, templates, music/SFX levels)
- Deliver work quickly and consistently—balancing daily turnaround edits with occasional longer-form projects
- Quality-check everything before delivery: clean cuts, no typos in captions, correct framing, synced audio, crisp exports
- Manage overlapping deadlines while collaborating with the team via Slack/Trello/Drive
Who You Are
- 2+ years of video editing experience (social media/marketing/content editing preferred)
- A portfolio that proves you can deliver volume + speed + polish (must include video examples)
- Proficient with at least one editing tool (any is fine): Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro
- Strong sense of timing, storytelling, trends, and what performs on short-form platforms
- Detail-obsessed—you don’t let mistakes slip through
- Able to work under tight deadlines while meeting high-quality standards
- Available during PST business hours (night shift in the Philippines)
- Reliable, self-motivated, and takes direction well
Bonus Points
- Basic motion graphics skills (After Effects or similar)
- Experience working with U.S.-based remote teams
- Familiarity with Slack, Trello, and Google Drive
Compensation & Schedule
- starts at $5/hr
- ~30 hours/week
- Must be available during PST hours
- Independent contractor role (long-term)
