WordPress Web Developer (Part-Time / Freelance)

We are seeking an experienced WordPress Web Developer to assist with ongoing website maintenance, updates and development projects.

This is a remote role offering flexible hours and ongoing work for the right candidate.

Responsibilities
Update WordPress core, plugins and themes
Troubleshoot website issues and bugs
Create and modify pages using Elementor
Implement website content updates
Ensure mobile responsiveness across devices
Test forms and website functionality
Optimise website performance and page speed
Implement technical SEO recommendations
Maintain WooCommerce websites
Manage website migrations and staging environments
Perform regular website health and security checks
Required Skills
Strong experience with WordPress
Proficiency with Elementor
HTML and CSS knowledge
Basic PHP knowledge
WooCommerce experience
Ability to diagnose and resolve website issues
Strong attention to detail
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
Preferred Skills
JavaScript experience
Advanced WordPress development
Experience with WP Engine, Cloudways or VPS hosting
Experience with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF)
Understanding of technical SEO
