About the Role
I'm looking for a detail-oriented video editor to help me organize and cut raw footage for short-form social media content for my clients. This is not a heavy editing role — no color grading, no captions, no effects. Your job is to cut the footage down to what's usable and organize it into the correct folders so I can do the final edit quickly.

If you work fast, follow instructions precisely, and communicate well, there's consistent ongoing work here.


What You'll Be Doing
You will receive a WeTransfer link with raw footage and three scripts. Your job is to:

Watch all raw footage and cut out anything unusable (bad takes, dead air, blurry shots, etc.) [EDIT THIS VIDEO LINK HERE]
Sort all good B-roll clips into one folder
Read each script (provided as a Google Doc) and pull the matching footage for each one — lining up the clips to match the script order [GOOGLE DOC SCRIPTS FOR REFERENCE]
Organize everything into 4 labeled folders:

Folder
Contents
Broll Clips
Good B-roll clips
SCRIPT 1 — AC BILL KILLER (Best Converter)
Script 1 – footage organized to match script
SCRIPT 2 — STOP THE HEAT
Script 2 – footage organized to match script
SCRIPT 3 — AVOIDING ROOMS
Script 3 – footage organized to match script


Upload the completed folders back to WeTransfer preferably or Google Drive and Add the media to this Google Doc

Do NOT:

Color grade any footage
Add captions or text
Add music or effects
Rearrange or rename files beyond the folder structure above


What You'll Receive
Video Explaining of me what I need before every task moving forward
Raw footage download link (Wetransfer)
Google Doc with all 3 scripts to reference when organizing clips


Requirements
Experience editing short-form social media content (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, etc.)
Familiar with organizing footage in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve
Able to turn around completed work within 24 hours of receiving footage
Reliable internet and access to Google Drive and WeTransfer
Strong attention to detail — clips must match the scripts accurately
Good communicator — you'll need to flag any issues with footage quickly
