Company: AFK International Trading (Shanghai) — procurement and trading company specializing in hard-to-find, discontinued, and niche European/American industrial components.
About the role:
We source spare parts that most people can't find — discontinued valves, legacy sensors, obsolete controllers, niche European components. Our clients need these parts urgently and are willing to pay for them. Your job is to find suppliers who actually have stock, get real quotes with pricing and lead times, and help us close purchases.
This is NOT a data entry or research job. We need someone who can send professional RFQ
What you'll do:
Receive a list of part numbers (European/American brands like Rexroth, Parker, SICK, Staubli, Eaton, Mersen, Siemens, etc.)
Find suppliers through distributor websites, surplus dealers, eBay industrial stores, manufacturer contacts
Send RFQ
Make phone calls to suppliers when
Report results daily: supplier name, price, lead time, payment terms, stock confirmation
Requirements:
Excellent written English (you'll be writing to German, British, and American suppliers)
Experience in B2B procurement, purchasing, or sourcing — ideally industrial parts, electrical components, or mechanical equipment
Comfortable making international phone calls
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Familiar with platforms like Mouser, RS Components, Digi-Key, Radwell, EU Automation, or industrial eBay stores is a strong plus
What we DON'T need:
Google/ChatGPT research disguised as sourcing — we need real RFQ
Long reports about methodology — we measure results: quotes obtained, parts found, orders placed
Schedule & Pay:
Part-time to start (4 hours/day), with potential to grow to full-time based on performance
Paid test task before hiring (2-3 days of real sourcing work, compensated)
Base hourly rate + bonus for every position where your supplier gets the purchase order
Payment via USDT (crypto) on the 10th and 25th of each month
How to apply:
Send me a message with:
Your relevant experience in procurement or sourcing (keep it brief — 3-5 sentences)
Name one industrial parts supplier or distributor website you have personally used or contacted before
Your availability (hours per day, timezone)
No need for a long cover letter. We'll evaluate you based on a real test task, not your resume.
