Short-Form Video Editor (Instagram Reels / TikTok)

Pay: $300/month starting

We’re looking for a reliable video editor to help edit simple short-form content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.

This is a long-term role for someone who is fast, organized, and comfortable editing talking-head style videos.

### Main Responsibilities

- Edit 3-5 short-form videos per day
- Cut talking-head clips
- Add captions/subtitles
- Sync captions accurately with speech
- Add simple sound effects and transitions where appropriate
- Remove mistakes, pauses, filler words, and dead space
- Add light zooms and motion
- Add screenshots, screen recordings, and basic b-roll
- Work with AI-related content such as ChatGPT, Claude, Codex, Canva, etc.
- Export vertical videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
- Follow reference videos and templates

### Editing Style

Clean, modern, fast-paced social media edits. Nothing overly flashy. Example:

### Requirements

- Experience editing short-form content
- Strong caption/subtitle timing
- Good sense of pacing
- Reliable communication
- Fast turnaround
- Ability to follow instructions closely
- Experience with CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar software

### Bonus Skills

Not required, but helpful:

- Familiar with AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Codex, Canva, and CapCut AI
- Can create simple Instagram carousel posts
- Basic copywriting or scriptwriting experience
- Can assist with content research

Additional work such as research, carousel creation, copywriting, or scripting may be available separately and paid as extra work. The main role is video editing.
