JOB OVERVIEW

We're a growing direct-to-consumer ecommerce brand and we're looking for a skilled video editor to produce high-converting video ads for Meta (Facebook and Instagram). This ranges from short-form scroll-stoppers to longer VSL-style ads.
This is not corporate, over-polished video work. We want native, authentic, "shot on a phone" style ads that stop the scroll and feel real, not like a commercial. If you understand the difference between an ad that looks like an ad and an ad that looks like content, you'll do well here.
What you'll be doing:

Editing vertical (9:16) video ads for paid social, from short hooks to longer VSL-style pieces
Cutting and pacing footage for retention: strong hooks in the first 3 seconds, tight pacing, no dead air
Sourcing and layering relevant B-roll to support the script and keep visual interest high
Using Higgsfield to generate and integrate AI video clips into the edits
Adding captions, sound design, music, and on-screen text that match a native social feel
Working from scripts and direction we provide, and turning them around cleanly

You must have:

Hands-on experience editing vertical video ads (please show examples)
Real working experience with Higgsfield (not just "I've heard of it")
Strong skills with B-roll: finding it, cutting it in, and using it to elevate a story. To confirm you've read the full post, please start your application with the word GREEN at the very top.
Fluency in CapCut and/or Premiere Pro
A good eye for pacing, captions, and the native UGC ad aesthetic
Reliable communication and the ability to hit deadlines

Nice to have:

Experience editing for ecommerce or DTC brands
Experience with VSLs or longer-form direct-response video
Familiarity with other AI video tools such as Seedance, Kling, Runway, or similar
Understanding of what makes a Meta ad convert, not just look good

Hours and growth:
This role is part-time to start, with flexible hours rather than a fixed weekly amount. We're scaling fast, so the workload will grow over time, and there's a real path toward more hours and eventually a full-time role for the right person.
