Video Editor Wanted – DTC eCommerce Ads

We run an healthy/wellness brand and we're looking for an expert VSL Video Editor to join our team.

We need someone to take responsibility for:

- Fast Delivery without sacrifice quality (Both quality and speed are essential)
- Work 8 hours per day for a total of 40 hours weekly producing 1/2 VSL video per day with a minimum duration of 2 minutes.
- Create 3 different Hooks Variations x video.
- Finding parts of raw clips independently.
- Use clips pertaining strictly to the script.
- High story telling skills and ability to convey emotion from script to video.
- Use professional editing with visual effects, sound effects, transitions, motion graphics, etc.
- The videos produced must keep viewer retention very high, so use effects and clips very frequently.
- Carefully check once the video is finished that everything is correct (clips used pertaining to the script, texts written correctly, etc.).
- The videos will be in French, but we will also send the same script in English for better understanding. It is not necessary to know French, but flexibility is needed.
- The videos (and generally the clips used) should all be of high quality.
- Videos must be regularly produced within one day of script delivery and delivered following future directions.
- Use AI-powered tools and software proficiently to enhance and accelerate video production (e.g. AI clip generation, AI-assisted editing, etc.).
- Create and produce high-quality video scripts optimized for VSL formats and Meta ad performance.
- Create ultra-realistic AI avatar videos with lip-sync capabilities, using tools such as HeyGen, Synthesia, or similar platforms, to produce compelling spokesperson-style content.

Position Requirements:
- Proven experience as a VSL video editor for Meta Ads.
- Proficiency with professional editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve or similar).
- Strong skills in motion graphics, transitions, sound design, and subtitles/captions.
- Strong skills in hooks creation, scroll stoppers e attention grabber.
- Ability to adapt editing style to different formats and target audiences.
- Good understanding of social media and performance marketing (knowing what makes a video engaging and high-converting).
- Proven proficiency with AI video creation tools (e.g. HeyGen, Synthesia, Runway, Kling, or similar) for generating ultra-realistic lip-sync AI avatar videos.
- Strong script-writing skills with the ability to craft clear, persuasive, and well-structured VSL scripts that convert.
- Hands-on experience leveraging AI software throughout the video production workflow to maximize quality and output speed.
- No freelancer mentality. This is a full-time job. You will be paid by the hour, not by project.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written) – French is a plus.
- Full-time availability with fast turnaround times and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Complete availability to the company, so other freelancer works are not possible.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver polished, professional results consistently.
- Creative mindset with problem-solving skills and openness to feedback.
- Reliable, proactive, and communicative personality – someone who takes ownership of the work and respond quickly, concisely and efficiently.
