We are a digital advertising consultancy working with clients across multiple industries on paid media campaigns — primarily Meta and Google Ads. We are looking for a sharp, reliable virtual assistant to work directly under our lead strategist and help execute campaigns, track performance, and keep everything running smoothly.
This is a hands-on execution role. You will be getting campaigns live, pulling reports, and flagging performance issues — not just doing admin work. If you have experience in paid ads and can also handle basic graphic design, this is an ideal fit. We work fast and expect someone who can keep up.
What you'll be doing:
- Setting up and launching ad campaigns on Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads following briefs provided by the lead strategist
- QA-ing campaigns before launch, checking targeting, budgets, placements, pixels, and UTMs
- Monitoring live campaigns daily and flagging anomalies (spend pacing, CTR drops, delivery issues)
- Pulling weekly and monthly performance reports fro
- Building simple performance summaries and decks for client reporting
- Creating or resizing ad creatives using Canva, Figma, or Adobe tools, static images, story formats, and basic video thumbnails
- Maintaining organized campaign folders, naming conventions, and documentation
- Supporting additional tasks as needed: research, competitor ad analysis, audience building
Must have:
- Hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager (campaign setup, ad sets, audiences)
- Familiarity with Google Ads (Search or Performance Max)
- Able to read and interpret ad performance data (CTR, CPC, ROAS, CPA)
- Experience building performance reports (Google Sheets, Looker Studio, or similar)
- Strong spoken and written English, clear and professional
- Detail-oriented, comfortable working from briefs without hand-holding
- Reliable internet connection and consistent availability
Strong plus:
- Graphic design skills: Canva, Figma, Adobe Photoshop, or Illustrator
- Experience creating ad creatives (static, story, carousel formats)
- Familiarity with Meta Pixel, UTM parameters, and conversion tracking
- Google Analytics 4 experience
- Experience working with a marketing agency or consultant
- Knowledge of audience building: custom audiences, lookalikes, interest stacking
- Basic video editing or caption work (CapCut, Premiere, etc.)
Who this is for:
You have worked in paid media. Either in-house, at an agency, or as a freelancer and understand how digital ad campaigns actually work, not just theoretically. You are comfortable working independently, asking smart questions when needed, and taking ownership of your tasks.
You do not need to be a senior media buyer. You do need to be someone who can execute accurately, communicate clearly, and flag problems proactively instead of waiting to be asked.
How to apply?
To be considered, please include the following in your application:
Subject line: Start your message with "ADS VA – [your name]" so we know you read this listing
A brief intro (3–5 sentences) describing your paid media experience, specific platforms and what you actually did
At least one example of a campaign or report you worked on (describe it, no confidential info needed)
If you have design experience, share 2–3 samples of ad creative you have made
Your availability (hours/week) and preferred working hours in your time zone
Your rate expectation in USD per hour or per month
