Hi! I run an online business that sells custom songs as gifts, and I'm looking for someone to own our ad creative—the videos and images we run on paid social.
What you'd be doing:
Creating video ads, either fully with AI or by editing from existing footage and UGC
Making image ads with AI
Coming up with hooks and angles that actually stop the scroll, not just "clean" edits
Iterating fast on what's working and killing what isn't
What I need from you:
A real eye for virality. You should be able to look at a piece of content and know why it'll work or flop before it ever runs.
You understand ads deeply—hooks, pacing, retention, what makes someone stop scrolling, and what makes them buy. This isn't a "make it look nice" role; it's a "make it perform" role.
Solid hands-on editing skills and comfort with AI video/image tools
You move quickly and don't get precious about your work—we test a lot and cut losers fast
Reliable internet and consistent hours.
Bonus points: direct-response or paid social experience, especially anything you've run on Meta or TikTok.
This is a long-term role. If you're good, you'll have stability, creative freedom, and real upside (more on that below). I'd just ask that you don't apply if you're after a short-term placeholder.
Pay: $1,000/month, plus a $100 bonus for every winning creative. If you can make ads that perform, you can make a lot more than the base.
