About the Role...
We are looking for a high-level video editor to help
This is not a basic editing role. We need someone who understands retention, storytelling, pacing, hooks, captions, sound design, and visual packaging for Instagram Reels. The goal is to turn factory visits, supplier interviews, product clips, and business insights into highly engaging short-form videos that look premium and keep people watching. This is a full-time position. We are only looking for highly dedicated and looking for a career they can grow into.
Responsibilities...
Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
Turn raw footage into high-retention content with strong hooks and fast pacing.
Add captions, zooms, cuts, b-roll, sound effects, music, and visual effects where needed.
Help create a consistent editing style for
Identify the best
Edit factory tours, supplier interviews, product breakdowns, and educational sourcing content.
Improve weak footage with creative editing, story structure, and visual polish.
Work with our team to test different hooks, formats, and editing styles.
Organize data according to our file structure SOP.
Provide weekly insights on video performance and use the data to quickly adjust strategy based on what is working.
Requirements...
Must have strong experience editing short-form content for Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube Shorts.
Must understand retention-based editing and how to keep viewers watching.
Must be excellent with captions, pacing, sound design, transitions, and storytelling.
Must be comfortable working with talking-head videos, factory footage, product videos, and interviews.
Must be highly detail-oriented and able to match brand style.
Must be able to take feedback and make revisions quickly.
Experience with CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, or similar tools.
Bonus Points...
Experience editing content for entrepreneurs, business influencers, product brands, podcasts, or factory/manufacturing channels.
Experience creating viral-style Reels.
Understanding of Instagram content strategy.
Ability to suggest hooks, titles, captions, and content angles.
Experience with AI editing tools.
What Success Looks Like
Videos have strong hooks in the first 1-2 seconds.
Average watch time and retention improve over time.
Clips feel premium, fast-paced, and on-brand.
The editor can take raw footage and independently find the story.
