We're after a Google expert with 4+ years of experience and a proven portfolio in driving local footfall & online orders.

We are looking for a highly capable Local Search Everywhere & AI Search Specialist to help us build and deliver our local search service.

About The Role:
We are looking for a highly capable Local Search Everywhere & AI Search Specialist to help us build and deliver our local search service.

This is not a generic SEO role.

You will be responsible for improving how local businesses appear across search engines, map platforms, review sites, directories, social search and AI-generated answers.

Your work will help clients become easier to find, easier to trust and more likely to be chosen by nearby customers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Optimise Google Business Profiles
- Run 200+ Google Business Profiles For Independent Businesses
- Improve visibility in Google Maps and local pack results
- Optimise business presence across Apple Maps, Bing Places and key local directories
- Audit local search visibility across multiple platforms
- Track rankings for local intent keywords
- Research how customers search by sector and location
- Analyse local competitors and identify visibility gaps
- Optimise business categories, services, products, descriptions, photos, opening hours, posts and Q&A
- Build and maintain citation/listing consistency
- Monitor reviews across key platforms
- Support review generation and review response workflows
- Identify fake, spam or harmful reviews where appropriate
- Recommend local landing page improvements
- Structure business information so it is clear for search engines and AI answer engines
- Support AI search visibility across tools such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Copilot
- Research how clients appear in AI-generated local recommendations
- Create monthly Local Search Everywhere reports
- Work with the content team so social, search, reviews and offers support each other
- Help develop repeatable processes, checklists and SOPs for the agency

- Local business directories
- Industry-specific directories
- Review platforms
- Website local landing pages
- AI search tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Copilot
- AI Search Responsibilities
- We want someone who can help answer questions like:
- Does this business appear when AI tools recommend local businesses?
- Is the business information consistent enough for AI systems to understand?
- Are reviews, services, categories, locations and proof signals clear?
- What content or structured information should we add to improve discoverability?
- How do competitors appear in AI search compared with our clients?
- What questions are customers likely asking AI before choosing a business?
- You do not need to pretend AI search is fully solved. We want someone curious, experimental and process-driven who can test, document and improve.

Must-Have Skills

- Strong experience with Google Business Profile
- Strong understanding of local SEO and Google Maps ranking factors
- Experience with citations and listing management
- Experience with review management
- Ability to carry out local competitor audits
- Good understanding of local keyword research
- Ability to make practical recommendations, not just produce reports
- Good written English
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable using AI tools for research, analysis and workflow improvement
- Able to document processes clearly
