Job Overview
• We are seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to lead our growth initiatives and help scale Footballer Plus into a leading football education platform worldwide.
This role is responsible for developing and executing digital marketing strategies that drive audience growth, lead generation, customer acquisition, partnerships, and revenue.
This is not a social media management role. While social media forms part of our marketing ecosystem, we are looking for a strategic marketer with broad experience across multiple digital marketing channels and proven business results.
The ideal candidate excels at ideation, strategic planning, execution, and continuous optimization, with the ability to turn growth opportunities into measurable business outcomes
What You’ll Do
• Develop and execute digital marketing strategies aligned with company growth objectives
• Build and optimize lead generation funnels, landing pages, and customer journeys for both B2B and B2C audiences
• Improve website traffic, conversion rates, and customer acquisition performance
• Lead SEO, AI optimization, and content marketing initiatives to increase organic growth, discoverability, and search visibility
• Create and manage
• Develop audience segmentation and customer journey strategies
• Analyze campaign performance and provide actionable insights through data, analytics, dashboards, and regular performance reporting
• Support partnership marketing initiatives with clubs, academies, associations, and industry organizations
• Identify and execute growth opportunities through online communities and platforms, including Reddit marketing and community engagement
• Collaborate with content creators, football experts, and the leadership team to maximize marketing impact
• Develop social media marketing plans, content calendars, and scheduling strategies that support overall business objectives and works in coordination with our internal and external social media content creators/influencers.
• Leverage AI tools and technologies to improve research, content creation, campaign optimization, workflow automation, and marketing efficiency.
• Lead marketing initiatives from ideation and planning through execution, optimization, and reporting.
What We’re Looking For
• Minimum 5 years of digital marketing experience
• Proven success managing multi-channel digital marketing campaigns
• Experience in lead generation, growth marketing, conversion optimization, and customer acquisition
• Experience building and optimizing landing pages, conversion funnels, and customer acquisition campaigns
• Strong understanding of SEO, AI-assisted marketing,
• Experience using AI-powered marketing tools to improve marketing performance, efficiency, and scalability
• Experience with Reddit marketing, online communities, or community-led growth strategies is highly desirable
• Demonstrated ability to generate ideas, develop strategic marketing plans, and execute campaigns from concept through completion
• Experience working in startups, SaaS, EdTech, SportsTech, media, or digital platforms is highly desirable
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and project management abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
Bonus
• Knowledge of or experience within football (soccer), sports, sports technology, coaching, education, or athlete development sectors
• Experience selling to both organizations (B2B) and consumers (B2C)
Work Setup
• Part-time: 10–20 hours per week, and eventually full time
• Fully remote (work from anywhere)
• Flexible schedule (async-friendly)
• 1–2 weekly meetings including Mondays, 8 AM PDT / 11 PM Manila (PHT)
Compensation
• Total monthly earning potential: up to $1000 USD/month ($400 base + up to $600 performance commission).
This includes a base monthly compensation plus performance-based commission tied to marketing results such as lead generation, conversions, and campaign performance
