About Nosu
Nosu is a Dutch health-and-wellness brand focused on helping people reshape their relationship with sweetness, cravings, food habits, and metabolic health.
Our brand is built around the idea that long-term wellness does not come from extreme restriction or quick fixes, but from small, sustainable changes in behavior. We create content around topics such as sugar cravings, blood sugar, insulin resistance, glucose metabolism, appetite, food noise, weight management, sweet taste, reward, and healthier daily habits.
Nosu’s brand direction is modern, reliable, approachable, innovative, and grounded. Our visual identity combines vibrant organic visuals, clean photography, modern typography, and relatable human lifestyle imagery, so the brand feels both scientific and accessible.
Role Overview
Health & Wellness Content Editor / Social Media Creator
We are looking for a strong content editor and social media creator to help us turn simplified health and metabolic-health topics into blog articles and Instagram content.
This role is ideal for someone who is good at writing, editing, simplifying information, creating educational social posts, and working with health/wellness content.
You do not need to be a doctor, scientist, or medical researcher. However, you should be comfortable working with topics like nutrition, blood sugar, cravings, metabolic health, supplements, appetite, and behavior change.
You should be able to make content feel simple, relatable, and engaging without making exaggerated claims.
Main Responsibilities
1. Turn one topic into blog articles
For every assigned topic or subtopic, you will create a short or medium-length blog article.
The article should:
* Be easy to understand.
* Speak directly to our target persona.
* Use simple, natural language.
* Avoid overly technical explanations.
* Avoid exaggerated health or medical claims.
* Explain why the topic matters in everyday life.
* Connect the topic to cravings, food behavior, metabolic health, or healthy habits.
* Always include a natural tie-in to Nosu.
The blog article should not feel like a generic SEO article. It should feel like it was written for someone who struggles with cravings, sugar, food noise, dieting, energy dips, or feeling out of control around sweet foods.
The goal is to make the reader think:
“This explains what I experience. This brand understands me.”
2. Repurpose each topic into Instagram content
After creating the blog article, you will turn the same topic into Instagram content.
This may include:
* Educational carousel posts
* Single-image educational posts
* Myth-vs-fact posts
* Quote posts
* Problem/solution posts
* Founder/expert-style educational posts
* Relatable meme-style posts
* UGC/testimonial-inspired posts
* Product education posts
* Ingredient education posts
* Simple visual explainers
* Story slides
* Reel script ideas
Each Instagram post should focus on one topic or subtopic only.
For example:
* One post about insulin resistance
* One post about why sugar cravings happen
* One post about food noise
* One post about blood sugar spikes
* One post about how sweet taste connects to reward
* One post about how Nosu fits into a healthy routine
The posts should follow the formats used by strong DTC health and supplement brands: educational, relatable, visual, simple, and built for social media attention.
3. Write Instagram captions
For each Instagram post, you will write a caption that:
* Hooks the reader.
* Explains the idea clearly.
* Feels natural and human.
* Speaks in the language of our target audience.
* Reinforces the blog topic.
* Includes a natural tie-in to Nosu.
* Encourages saves, shares, comments, or clicks when relevant.
Captions should not feel overly salesy. They should feel educational and helpful, while still moving the reader closer to understanding why Nosu exists.
4. Collaborate on visuals
Visuals will be a collaboration.
Nosu can provide:
* Product photography
* Lifestyle images
* Brand assets
* Visual references
* Design examples
* Templates
* Creative direction
The hire can help with:
* Choosing the best visual format
* Creating simple graphics
* Building carousels in Canva, Figma, or similar tools
* Suggesting image concepts
* Adding text overlays
* Making sure posts look clean and on-brand
The added text and layout should reflect Nosu’s visual identity: clean, modern, approachable, science-backed, and visually consistent.
We want the content to feel like a real brand system, not random social posts.
5. Apply Nosu’s brand tone
All content should feel aligned with Nosu’s brand.
We want to make complex health topics understandable, but we do not want to overpromise or make medical claims.
6. Support our organic strategy
The hire should help us build an organic content system based on the strongest DTC health brands.
This includes helping us create a healthy mix of:
* Educational posts
* Category education
* Product education
* Relatable posts
* Social proof posts
* Founder/expert-style posts
* Lifestyle and habit content
* Myth-busting content
* Simple explainers
* Community/persona-led content
Over time, this content should help Nosu become a trusted educational brand in the space of sugar cravings, metabolic health, food behavior, and healthier habits.
Ideal Candidate
You may be a good fit if you:
* Have excellent English writing and editing skills.
* Can turn simple notes into strong, polished content.
* Can write in a way that speaks to a specific target audience.
* Understand how to make health content relatable.
* Have experience with wellness, nutrition, supplements, fitness, psychology, or behavior-change content.
* Can create Instagram carousels or social media posts.
* Have a good eye for clean design and visual hierarchy.
* Can use Canva, Figma, Adobe Express, or similar tools.
* Can follow brand guidelines and content structures.
* Are detail-oriented.
* Understand that health content must be careful, accurate, and not exaggerated.
* Can collaborate with a brand team on visuals and messaging.
* Can turn one topic into multiple useful content assets.
Important: What This Role Is Not
Nosu will provide the source material, simplified explanation, key takeaways, and strategic direction.
Your main job is to turn our input into:
* A clear blog article
* Strong social posts
* Great caption
* Clean, brand-aligned visual content
This is also not purely a graphic design role. Writing, editing, and simplifying information are just as important as creating the final Instagram post.
To Apply
Please send:
1. Examples of blog articles, educational content, or health/wellness writing you have created.
2. Examples of Instagram carousels, social posts, or social media graphics.
3. A short explanation of your experience with health, wellness, nutrition, supplements, fitness, or educational content.
4. A short explanation of how you would turn one topic into a blog article and Instagram post.
5. Your expected hourly rate or monthly rate.
6. Your weekly availability.
7. The tools you use for writing and design, such as Canva, Figma, Google Docs, Notion, Adobe Express, etc.
8. To confirm you’ve read this in full, please include a brief note about one of Nosu’s core values, such as behavioral change or transparency, and why it resonates with you.
Bonus points if you have experience with health brands, supplement brands, nutrition education, DTC brands, or turning complex topics into simple consumer-friendly content.
