JOB OVERVIEW

About us
We are a UK marketing agency. We work with recruitment companies who want to grow. We run their SEO,
websites and email marketing.

Email
is one of the biggest things we do. Our clients trust us to talk to their candidates, warm up their leads
and book them more meetings. We need another person to help us do more of it without dropping the
quality.

The role
You will run the day to day email marketing for a group of recruitment clients. Building emails, sending
them, setting up automations, and reporting on what worked.
You are not writing the strategy from scratch. We will give you the plan. Your job is to make sure the right

email
goes to the right person on the right day, with the right tracking on it.
This is a hands on job for someone who likes the craft. Clean lists. Good subject lines. Smart segments.
Reports that actually say something.

What you will do
• Build and send campaigns in ActiveCampaign, HubSpot and Brevo for 6 to 10 recruitment clients.
• Set up and look after automations. Welcome flows, nurture sequences, re engagement, candidate
drip campaigns, win backs for old clients.
• Run outbound sequences in Apollo. List building, sequence setup, keeping the inbox healthy, sorting
replies.
• Segment lists properly. No more sending everything to everyone. Use tags, fields and behaviour to
keep emails relevant.
• Look after deliverability. Warm up new domains, watch the bounce and spam rates, fix SPF, DKIM and
DMARC when something looks wrong.
• Pull weekly and monthly reports for each client. Opens, clicks, replies, meetings booked. Flag what
we should change.
• Run A/B tests on subject lines, send times, copy and CTAs. Write down what wins so we use it again.
• Keep templates, snippets and brand files tidy in each tool so anyone can pick up where you left off.
What you bring
• 3 to 5 years of hands on B2B email marketing or marketing automation. Agency experience is a big
plus.
• Strong working knowledge of ActiveCampaign and HubSpot. You can build an automation from a
sketch on a notepad without looking things up.
• Comfortable in Apollo and Brevo. Or quick at picking up new tools, because we try new ones often.
• You actually understand deliverability. You know what a DMARC record is, why warm up matters, and
how to read a Postmaster Tools report.
• Good written English. You will not write big creative campaigns, but you will fix grammar, tidy copy
and rewrite weak CTAs without being asked.
• Good with numbers. You can look at a report and tell us what is working and what is not, not just
copy the numbers into a slide.
• A clear async communicator. We work across time zones. We trust people who write short, clear
updates and flag problems early.

Nice to have
• Experience marketing to the recruitment or staffing world.
• Some experience with LinkedIn outreach tools like Heyreach, Expandi or Lemlist. We sometimes line
up email and LinkedIn touches together.
• Basic HTML and CSS for email. Enough to fix a broken template without escalating.
• Working knowledge of GA4, UTM tagging and how email traffic shows up in analytics.

How we work
• Small senior UK team. You will work with the director who owns email and with our customer success
lead. No layers and no politics.
• Clear playbooks and SOPs for every job we do. We write things down so you are never guessing.
• One team call a week. The rest is async. We respect deep work and do not message for the sake of it.
• Long term role. We want someone who grows with us, picks up more clients over time, and
eventually helps train the next hire.
