JOB OVERVIEW

I run a small Western Australian Building company specialising in renovations. I am a multi skilled tradesman who has recently become a Builder. I have a team of 3 full time staff soon to be 6.

I am a hardworker and get great joy out of working with my staff and creating renovations for my clients they love. I work on mid to high range renovations.

I am currently inundated with work and am unable to keep up with my estimating. I am looking for someone to work closely alongside to help me with the below:

* Quantity takeoff – Architectural, Civil, and Structural trades
* Cost estimates – practical budgeting support (A-to-Z)
* Scope of works and methodology review (clarifying inclusions/exclusions)
* Bill of quantities (BoQ) preparation
* RFQ / quote request pack preparation
* Supplier and subcontractor coordination support
* Tender document preparation and quote comparison summaries
* Construction drawings and drafting assistance - this a bonus not a must have
* Construction / project support (documentation and coordination)
* Progress reports, valuations and schedule of conditions

You must be a trained estimator and have at least 1 year experience on the job. You must have experience with Australian industry standards and is proficient in using common take off tools. I am looking for someone who is who is reliable, accurate and who can juggle suppliers, clients and subcontractors/builder.

We have recently subscribed to Wunderbuild and this is our choice of software for our company.

Note the suggested salary would apply to the first two months. If the right candidate is found we would increase the rate.
