JOB OVERVIEW

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

We are a fast-growing supplement brand. We are looking for our first Creative Strategist to join the team and own the ideation and strategy behind our Meta Ads creatives.

This is a ground-floor opportunity. You will be the first creative strategist in the team, working directly with the founder. As the brand scales, your earning potential scales with it.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**

You will be responsible for the full creative strategy process — from research to brief delivery:

- Conduct avatar and market research (Reddit, YouTube, Amazon, competitor ad libraries) to extract real insights and identify what the market wants
- Map awareness stages and identify angles, hooks and content formats to test
- Generate hypotheses for creative concepts based on data — not guesses
- Analyze competitor ads to identify winning formats, structures and messaging patterns
- Ideate and develop 5 to 10 well-structured creative concepts per week
- Write detailed creative briefs for the video editor and graphic designer via Notion
- Work collaboratively within our production process to ensure briefs are clear, actionable and aligned with the strategy

You will NOT be editing videos or designing graphics. Your job is to think, research, and brief.

**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**

- Proven experience in direct response advertising — ideally Meta Ads for e-commerce or supplement brands
- Deep understanding of awareness stages, avatar mapping, and angle development, formats
- Ability to extract marketing insights from raw research and turn them into testable hypotheses
- Experience analyzing competitor creatives and identifying what makes them work
- Strong written communication — your briefs need to be clear enough that a video editor can execute without additional explanation
- Familiarity with Notion or willingness to work within our existing workflow
- Self-directed and proactive — we move fast and need someone who can keep up

**OUR PROCESS**

You will be integrated into a lean, structured workflow:

1. Weekly research and insight gathering on assigned avatars and angles
2. Hypothesis generation and concept ideation
3. Brief creation in Notion for video editor and graphic designer
4. Review and iteration based on ad performance data
5. Direct communication with the founder on strategy and priorities

Everything runs through Notion. You will always know what is expected and when.

**HIRING PROCESS**

Before any paid engagement, we ask for a short free trial task. We will provide you with a real brand example and ask you to generate a research-based creative hypothesis. This is not busywork — it is how we evaluate the way you think, not just what you know.

**COMPENSATION**

We start with a per-concept payment model — you get paid for every approved creative concept delivered.

As the relationship develops and output is consistent, we transition to:
- Fixed monthly retainer + Performance bonus for every ad that hits a defined spend threshold in the Meta Ads account

This is a real performance-based opportunity. The brand is new, the product is validated, the market is large.

The first creative strategist who comes in and helps us scale will earn significantly more than a standard flat-rate position — because their bonus grows as the brand grows.
