About the Position

I am a busy New Jersey Realtor looking for an experienced Social Media Manager who understands how to grow a personal brand, create engaging content, and generate real estate leads through social media.

This is not an entry level position. I am looking for someone who is proactive, creative, organized, and experienced in managing social media for real estate professionals, personal brands, or service based businesses.

I already have an administrative assistant. Your primary responsibility will be managing and growing my online presence while helping turn content into leads.

Responsibilities

• Post content daily on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Threads, and other relevant platforms

• Create engaging captions and strong calls to action

• Schedule content in advance

• Edit short form videos using CapCut or similar software

• Repurpose one piece of content into multiple pieces of content

• Create graphics and marketing materials using Canva

• Respond to comments and engage with followers

• Monitor social media messages and notify me of potential leads

• Follow local accounts, businesses, investors, landlords, and community pages

• Research trending content and content ideas

• Assist with weekly content planning and content calendars

• Organize content folders and marketing assets

• Track social media growth and provide weekly performance reports

• Post listings, rentals, open houses, client testimonials, and market updates

Requirements

• Previous experience managing social media accounts

• Strong Canva skills

• Strong Instagram Edits app skills

• Excellent written and spoken English

• Experience creating reels and short form content

• Ability to work independently

• Detail oriented and highly organized

• Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Threads

• Reliable internet connection and computer

• Ability to meet deadlines consistently

Bonus Skills

• Real estate marketing experience

• Graphic design experience

• Experience using ChatGPT and AI tools

• Basic website management experience

• Lead generation experience

Compensation

Compensation is based on experience, skill level, portfolio quality, and the quality of your trial work.

Qualified candidates may be asked to complete a small trial assignment so I can evaluate creativity, attention to detail, content quality, and overall fit for the role.

Candidates with proven results, strong portfolios, and real estate marketing experience will receive priority consideration and higher compensation.

Hiring Timeline

• The selected candidate will begin onboarding and training next week
