Full Time VA -- E-Commerce Product Listing & SEO Specialist (Shopify / Western Platform Experience Preferred)

This role requires proven hands-on experience uploading and optimizing product listings on Shopify, eBay, Amazon, Etsy, or a similar Western e-commerce platform. San Diego County Music Exchange (SDCME) is a brick-and-mortar and online music store serving North County San Diego for over 35 years. We are looking for one dedicated full-time VA to manage and grow our online store.

Our online store has significant room to grow. We have far more products in our physical store than are currently listed online. The person who builds this out benefits directly -- the more products listed and optimized, the more sales generated, and the more you earn. When this store reaches its full potential, this commission becomes real money.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Upload, write, and optimize product listings daily on our online store (MusicShop360 platform) -- this is the core of the role

Maintain and build on our existing SEO foundation -- keyword research, meta descriptions, product titles, alt text

Monitor and respond to customer reviews on Google, Yelp, and our store

Manage social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Google Business Profile)
Track online orders daily and flag any issues

Research competitors and identify opportunities to improve our online presence

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR -- BE HONEST WITH YOURSELF BEFORE APPLYING:

Proven hands-on experience uploading and optimizing product listings on Shopify, eBay, Amazon, Etsy, or a similar Western e-commerce platform -- NOT just Lazada or Shopee

You must be able to show us stores you have managed or listings you have created

Keyword research and on-page SEO experience with real tools (Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Yoast, or similar)

Strong written English -- you will be writing product descriptions for U.S. customers

Self-directed and independent -- no team to manage, no supervisor to check in with hourly

This is an EXCLUSIVE full-time role -- we are not looking for someone managing other clients on the side

Comfortable learning MusicShop360 (similar to Shopify backend)

- Your only e-commerce experience is Lazada or Shopee
- You have never managed product listings for a U.S. or Western market
- You are currently working with other clients and not ready to commit exclusively
- You need significant training or hand-holding to get started

COMPENSATION:

- $3.00/hr full time (8 hours/day, Monday through Friday)
- 1% commission on online sales from day one
- 1.5% commission at Month 6
- 2% commission at Month 12
- Salary position discussion at one-year anniversary
