Legal Assistant/Paralegal – Real Estate & Business Law $1,200–$2,000/month USD | Full-Time | Long-Term
This Role Is For You If:
You have some experience working for US-Based law firms — drafting transactional documents, managing closings, managing documents for litigation, deadlines, and organizing files/documents — and you're ready to bring that expertise to a growing firm that will invest in you for the long haul.
We're a US-based Real Estate and Business Law firm, and we're hiring a paralegal to become a core part of our team. You'll work directly alongside our attorneys, not in a queue, not as a vendor — as a trusted colleague who owns their work.
What You'll Do
- Draft, review, and proofread real estate documents: purchase agreements, deeds, closing packages, title correspondence, and more.
- Prepare business formation documents: LLC/corporation filings, operating agreements, bylaws, resolutions, and EIN applications.
- Conduct legal research on real estate, business, and contract matters under attorney supervision.
- Manage case files, track deadlines, and keep clean digital records across active matters.
- Communicate professionally with clients, title companies, lenders, and third parties.
- Support due diligence, document collection, and closing coordination.
- Assist attorneys with calendaring, court filings, and administrative legal tasks.
What We're Looking For
Required:
- 2–3+ years of hands-on paralegal experience at a US law firm — please name the firm(s) and dates in your application.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Sharp attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple matters and deadlines without dropping anything.
- Proficiency with standard US legal tech: Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, DocuSign/Adobe Sign, and cloud document systems (Dropbox, Google Drive, SharePoint, or similar).
- Reliable high-speed internet, a quiet workspace, and a backup power/internet plan.
- Available full-time during US business hours.
Bonus Points For:
- Experience with title insurance, closing software, or real estate closing coordination.
- Familiarity with practice management software (Clio, MyCase).
What We Offer
- $1,200–$2,000/month USD, based on experience — paid reliably, on time.
- A stable, long-term position with a firm that's actively growing.
- Direct, daily collaboration with a US attorney who values your expertise.
- Performance-based raises after your probationary period.
- Paid time off.
- A real seat at the table — not a ticket queue.
