Remote Independent Contractor Opportunity

Do you enjoy creating order from chaos, keeping operations moving, and ensuring customers receive what they need on time? We're seeking an experienced Shipping & Logistics Contractor to deliver shipping, routing, and fulfillment solutions for a growing e-commerce business.

This independent contractor engagement is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes full ownership of delivering accurate, dependable results.

Scope of Services
Deliver accurate shipment routing and fulfillment documentation within agreed timelines
Coordinate and process shipments to support on-time order completion
Review and update order data within client systems as defined in each statement of work
Identify and flag fulfillment risks or delays, and propose corrective actions
Maintain complete and accurate logistics records and tracking documentation per project requirements
Support elevated order volume during peak project periods through expanded statement of work agreements
Provide operational recommendations to improve fulfillment efficiency

Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in shipping, logistics, fulfillment, or e-commerce operations
Currently operating as an independent contractor or self-employed professional
Ability to manage deliverables independently without day-to-day supervision
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
Clear written and verbal communication
Reliable remote work setup, including internet access and necessary equipment

Engagement Details
Independent contractor engagement governed by a signed Independent Contractor Agreement
All work performed remotely using the contractor's own tools, methods, and resources
Initial scope is part-time with defined deliverables outlined in a statement of work
Expanded project scope available during peak season, approximately September through January, by mutual agreement
Contractor is expected to maintain reasonable availability during core business hours to support project deliverables
Contractors are solely responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and business expenses
The contractor may continue to serve other clients throughout the engagement

Additional Information:
Time tracking is required
The role is during daytime US business hours 9a-6p EST US time (your overnight).
Salary is paid on a biweekly
The work is seasonal.
