Part Time
$3-7/hour USD (depending on experience,)
TBD

Hi! I'm looking for a part-time Video Editor who can also create AI-powered content (avatars, animations, AI visuals) for
IMPORTANT: All videos will be in Spanish. We produce for TWO markets:
- Spain -> Castilian Spanish (NOT Latin American)
- Mexico -> Mexican Spanish
You don't need to speak Spanish, but you must be comfortable working with Spanish scripts, subtitles, and voiceovers in both variants. Attention to detail with Spanish text matters - we never mix the two markets.
This is NOT a generic video editing job. I need someone who understands that ads on Meta need to LOOK like real content, not like an ad. If you only know how to edit corporate or YouTube-style videos, this is not for you.
------------------------------
WHAT YOU WILL DO
------------------------------
- Edit short-form video ads (15-60 seconds) AND long-form videos (1-5 minutes) for
- Produce videos for BOTH markets (Spain + Mexico), with different scripts, avatars, and voiceovers for each
- Create AI avatar videos using HeyGen (Soul ID / Character mode)
- Generate AI images using Nano Banana Pro / Midjourney / similar tools
- Add Spanish captions, subtitles, hooks, b-roll, sound design
- Edit raw UGC footage into native-style ads (handheld, "authentic" look)
- Create AI animations - both simple AND advanced (motion graphics, product reveals, transitions, complex AI-generated sequences)
- Adapt winning ads into multiple variations (different hooks, different angles)
- Manage and organize raw footage and final assets in Google Drive
------------------------------
TOOLS YOU MUST KNOW (REQUIRED)
------------------------------
* CapCut (Pro) - daily driver
* Adobe Premiere Pro OR DaVinci Resolve
* HeyGen (avatar generation, Soul ID Character mode)
* Higgsfield (for high-quality AI video generation)
* ElevenLabs or similar AI voice tools
* Any AI image generator (Midjourney, Nano Banana, Flux, etc.)
------------------------------
NICE TO HAVE (BONUS POINTS)
------------------------------
* Runway / Kling / Sora (AI video generation)
* After Effects (motion graphics)
* Experience editing for DTC / e-commerce brands
* Understanding of Meta Ads creative best practices
* Basic Spanish reading comprehension (helps a lot - most scripts will be in Spanish)
------------------------------
WHO YOU ARE
------------------------------
- You deliver QUALITY work - perfection matters, but you can also work at a good pace.
- You understand "native" content - ads that don't look like ads.
- You take direction well but also bring ideas.
- You're reliable. If you say it'll be done Tuesday, it's done Tuesday.
- You have stable internet and a computer that can handle 4K editing.
- You're available to communicate during agreed working hours (flexible, but consistent).
------------------------------
WHO YOU ARE NOT
------------------------------
- Someone who needs hand-holding on every task.
- Someone who copies the same template for every ad.
- Someone who ghosts for 3 days without warning.
- A "video editor" who has never touched an AI tool.
------------------------------
HOW TO APPLY
------------------------------
Send me:
- Your portfolio (links to videos you edited - Drive, YouTube, Vimeo, etc.)
- At least ONE example of an AI avatar video you created (HeyGen or similar)
- At least ONE example of AI-generated images or AI animation (Higgsfield, Runway, Kling, etc.)
- Your part-time hourly rate in USD
Answer these 2 questions in your application:
- What's the most viral or best-performing ad you've ever edited? (link if possible)
- Which AI tools do you use weekly and how?
Also tell me your time zone and how many hours per week you can commit.
IMPORTANT: Applications missing portfolio, hourly rate, or answers to the 2 questions will be ignored.

NEXT STEPS - FAIR TEST POLICY
------------------------------
Shortlisted candidates will complete a small test project (1 short video ad + 1 short AI animation).
- If the test meets the quality standard, you GET PAID for it at your full hourly rate, and we move forward to a long-term arrangement.
- If the test does not meet the quality standard, the test is unpaid, and we part ways with no hard feelings.
This is the fairest setup I can offer: I see your real work, you get paid for quality output, and we both avoid wasting time on a bad fit.
If we click, this is a long-term, stable part-time role with growing scope. I prefer to build long relationships, not rotate freelancers.
Looking forward to seeing your work!
