GRAPHIC DESIGNER - CUSTOM SPORTS APPAREL (INTERMEDIATE TO SENIOR)

A full-time, fully remote role with a New Zealand-based business.
Standard Philippine business hours.

We're looking for a highly skilled graphic designer to join our small,
collaborative design team, creating artwork for custom sports apparel
and our marketing materials. This is a hands-on design role, not a
management one - you'll work alongside our other designers, turning
customer orders and briefs into polished, production-ready designs.


ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR IS ESSENTIAL - PLEASE READ

This is a vector-based role, and genuine fluency in Adobe Illustrator is
non-negotiable. We receive many applications from talented people who
work primarily in Photoshop or CorelDRAW - but without strong,
demonstrable Illustrator skills, we can't move your application forward.
Illustrator must be your primary design tool.


REQUIREMENTS

- Advanced, confident Adobe Illustrator skills. This is the core of the
role and is required, not preferred.

- A strong portfolio that demonstrates excellent design ability: clean,
considered, technically sound vector work. (Senior-level is great; a
strong intermediate designer with real chops is also very welcome.)

- Exceptional English communication, both written and verbal.

- A solid understanding of design workflows, ideally for customised or
made-to-order product pipelines.

- The ability to interpret customer feedback and turn it into clear,
actionable design improvements.

- Experience maintaining a consistent brand identity across channels.

- Highly organised, able to manage multiple projects at once and hit
deadlines.


NICE TO HAVE

- Experience designing for sublimation print, especially sports apparel.
A genuine bonus, but not required - we're happy to teach the
sublimation specifics to a strong designer.

- Other Adobe Creative Suite tools (Photoshop, InDesign).

- Experience working with remote teams and international clients.

- Familiarity with task-management tools (Trello, Asana, ---------- ).
