Position Overview
This is a senior-level accounting position for an experienced CPA who can manage U.S.-based clients and serve as a trusted financial advisor.
This role is not limited to bookkeeping or tax preparation.
The ideal candidate will help clients understand their financial position, maintain accurate accounting records, improve reporting quality, and provide proactive guidance to business owners.
You will work directly with U.S.-based small business clients and collaborate with internal tea

Responsibilities
Client Accounting Services
Manage a portfolio of U.S.-based clients and oversee:
• Monthly bookkeeping review
• Financial statement preparation
• Bank reconciliations
• Credit card reconciliations
• General ledger review
• Month-end close process
• Financial reporting accuracy
Financial Advisory
Help business owners understand:
• Profitability
• Cash flow
• Financial performance
• Budgeting
• Forecasting
• Key business metrics
Provide proactive recommendations to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.
Client Relationship Management
• Conduct client meetings
• Review financial reports with clients
• Answer accounting and financial questions
• Maintain strong client relationships
• Ensure client satisfaction and retention
Accounting Quality Control
• Review work prepared by accounting staff
• Identify and correct errors
• Improve accounting processes
• Ensure consistency and quality standards
Team Leadership
• Assist with onboarding new clients
• Support and mentor junior accounting staff
• Participate in internal training
• Help improve systems and workflows
• Support firm growth initiatives
Qualifications
Required
• Active CPA designation (Philippine CPA or U.S. CPA)
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience
• Minimum 3 years serving U.S.-based clients
• Strong understanding of U.S. accounting principles
• Experience reviewing financial statements
• Experience working directly with business owners
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
Strongly Preferred
• U.S. CPA License
• Experience working in a CPA firm environment
• Experience managing multiple clients simultaneously
• Experience providing advisory services
• Experience reviewing business and individual tax returns
• Experience supervising accounting staff
• Experience identifying tax planning opportunities for small business owners
