Short-Form Video Editor - DIY & Renovation Content

Hi! I'm looking for a skilled short-form video editor to help me create engaging TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts focused on UK house renovation content.

You'll receive raw footage and briefs fro ---------- each week, and your job is to edit them into punchy, engaging short-form videos that match my current editing style and personality - fast-paced, dynamic, and engaging. The videos range from quick 7-second product clips with text overlays to longer 60-90 second talking head videos with B-roll cut in. Most clips should appear on screen for less than 0.8 seconds unless I'm speaking or there's a key action.

This is a small but consistent role 2-3 videos per week, but if you deliver great work and we build a good working relationship, there's room for this to grow with pay rises and more work.

What you'll do:
- Edit raw footage into short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
- Cut talking head footage with B-roll to keep videos fast-paced and engaging
- Follow my existing editing style but always look for ways to make the content better
- Deliver finished videos within 24 hours of receiving footage
- Communicate clearly about progress and revisions

What I'm looking for:
- Experience editing short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube Shorts
- Strong understanding of pacing and retention - you know what makes someone watch to the end vs. swipe away
- Ability to match B-roll to dialogue and keep the energy up throughout
- Proficient with Premiere Pro & has experience editing 360 footage from an Insta360 camera
- Great attention to detail and reliability
- Strong English comprehension for following instructions and communication

Hours & Pay:
- Starting with 2-3 videos per week, about 1-2 hours editing per video (potential for more)
- Max 6 hours per week to start with
- Pay rate: $3-5 USD/hour (depending on experience, pay rises for good performance & long term working relationships)
