Marketing Assistant (Part-Time) — Comic Book Kickstarter Launch

About the Role
We are comic book creators launching a new title on Kickstarter and we’re looking for a high?initiative
Marketing Assistant who understands how to drive real results on social platforms. This role requires
someone who knows the Kickstarter ecosystem, understands how to move audiences, and can
communicate with clarity, personality, and influence.
You must be fluent in written English, strong in sales?style communication, and able to engage
contemporary youth culture (ages 11–30) with confidence and creativity.
This is an execution-heavy role with room for creative flair, and performance bonuses are available for
standout engagement and measurable traffic driven to the Kickstarter page.
What Makes Kickstarter Marketing Unique
Kickstarter success depends on daily momentum, high?engagement micro?content, community?driven
hype, authentic creator?to?audience connection, fast and clever interactions, and driving warm traffic
directly to the campaign page.
Your job is to help create that momentum by executing a proven system with energy, consistency, and
cultural fluency.
What You’ll Do
Post daily content across Instagram, TikTok, Twitter/X, Facebook, Reddit, and Discord
Adapt assets for each platform
Engage directly with potential backers through comments, replies, and DMs
Build rapport with audiences using bright, clever, funny, and culturally aware communication
Seed content into relevant communities and fandom spaces
Track engagement and report daily results
Maintain a simple posting schedule and checklist
Add creative touches that elevate posts and spark conversation
Drive traffic toward the Kickstarter page during launch
What We Value

Performance Bonus
Exceptional engagement — especially engagement that drives real traffic and conversions to the
Kickstarter campaign — will be rewarded with a performance bonus.

presentation, and together we’ve built something we’re genuinely proud of. This project has been a labor
of love from the very beginning — just the two of us, working long days and longer nights, sweating every
detail to make sure this comic hits the level we believe great comics deserve.

We’re including an illustration and the prologue so you can get a feel for the tone, the world, and the level
of craft we’re bringing to Kickstarter.
