ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a highly skilled Long-Form Video Editor who understands storytelling, audience retention, and professional client delivery.

You will edit:

Podcasts
Interviews
Documentary-style content
Educational content
Branded content
Special projects

This role is much more than cutting clips together. We need someone who understands why an edit should happen and how to keep viewers engaged throughout an entire episode.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Long-Form Editing

Edit raw footage through final delivery.
Create polished, professional final videos.
Deliver projects quickly without sacrificing quality.

Multi-Camera Editing

Sync and organize footage.
Switch camera angles naturally.
Follow conversations and reactions.
Maintain visual engagement.
Improve audience retention through thoughtful editing decisions.

Audio Processing

Pristine audio is a must.

You will be responsible for:

Syncing audio correctly.
Cleaning and balancing dialogue.
Delivering professional-quality YouTube audio.
Ensuring a smooth listening experience throughout every episode.

Visual Enhancement

Basic color correction and grading.
Sharpening and image enhancement.
Intro and outro integration.
Lower thirds and titles.
Sponsor placements.
Basic motion graphics when needed.

DELIVERABLE EXPECTATIONS

Most projects must be completed within 1-2 business days.

Depending on the project, deliverables may include:

Long-form episode
Social media reels
Highlight segments
YouTube assets
Final delivery exports

Speed matters, but quality cannot suffer.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Professional video editing experience.
Multi-camera editing experience.
Podcast editing experience.
Strong storytelling and pacing skills.
Ability to work independently.

Consistent history of meeting deadlines.

DaVinci Resolve experience.
Documentary editing experience.
Motion graphics experience.
Interview editing experience.
