Video Editor — Paid Ad Creative — Part-Time to Full-Time
About Us
Seahorse Ceramic is a US-based manufacturer of professional-grade ceramic coatings sold direct to marine and automotive detailing professionals. We run paid ads on Meta and need someone who can create short-form video ads that actually convert — not just look good.
We're a lean, growing brand. This starts part-time with a clear path to full-time for the right person. If you can eventually own the full creative pipeline — video, static, and AI-assisted content — this becomes a long-term role.
What You'll Be Doing
Editing real application footage into 15–60 second paid video ads for Meta
Using AI video tools (Runway, Kling, or similar) to generate and integrate cinematic b-roll where real footage has gaps — this is a skill we value highly
Producing short-form Reels and social content from existing assets
Building static image ads for retargeting and promotions (bonus — not required but valued)
Working from creative briefs — you execute, we approve
Delivering in correct specs for Meta ad placements (1:1, 9:16, 4:5)
What We're Actually Looking For
This is not a "make it look pretty" role. We need someone who understands storybrand-style ad structure — hook, problem, solution, CTA — and can edit with that framework in mind. The creative has to move the needle, not just get views.
Portfolio of actual paid ad creative or direct response video content — not vlogs, wedding videos, or brand films
Knows how to write and cut a hook that stops the scroll in 3 seconds
Fluent in Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent
Experience with AI video generation tools (Runway, Kling, Pika, or similar) — tell us specifically what you've used and show us examples
Bonus: experience in automotive, marine, premium product, or trades categories — a good editor can cut anything, but this helps
Bonus: can produce clean static image ads in Canva or Photoshop
Reliable async communicator — you hit deadlines without being chased
What This Is Not
Not a social media manager role
We don't need content strategy, scheduling, or posting
We need someone who takes a brief and delivers assets that perform
Growth Path
Start part-time. Demonstrate you can produce creative that converts and this becomes full-time. If you can own both video and static creative production independently, that's exactly the person we want long-term.
